I have literally just got it, haven't even installed PPC drivers yet let alone tracked down the Smartphone drivers but im working on it."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/c500_minisd_vs_small.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />A lot of us have been waiting for this to see the light of day. These are just pictures but as you will see the darn thing won't fit into the SMT5600! Take a look at the pictures. Do you think the fact that it must stick out of most devices because of its size will keep it from being a success?

I would say it has to stick out of a device to improve transmission, but i would settle for lower range when tucked under my smt5600 batterie. keep us updated please !

Ok modded the C500 and it fits nicely. Click the link in the first post to see them. Still no word on drivers as yet.

I was under the impression that the SMT and its varients didn't have a SDIO miniSD slot because it was under the battery?

What did you do to make it fit?

Cool, I have been looking at my C500 since this card was first announced, and I thought it might be possible to mod the phone to allow it to fit. Nice to see that it works. :D

Hehe ;)

a) it's my spare one and b) a dummy phone will sort it back out if all this is in vain ;)

Which it may just be, had some bad news from Spectec which kinda confirms the non-SDIO rumour. I'm not giving up hope just yet tho!

Keep checking MSMN for updates...now i think i need sleep, its 4am 8O

As long as they make drivers for the smartphone platform it will work with the MPx 220 since it is SDIO unlike the SMT and its varients.
