Axcel Smart Viewer is a new comer to this arena. It seems to be reasonably prices at $13.95. Make sure you download the trial version first, just to make sure it does everything you want it to. If you like it, you can purchase a copy here. [Affiliate]

Update: As Sven has pointed out, this is a CSV viewer. You'll need to save your Excel doc's as CSV before transferring them to the phone.

I haven't tried this but it does say it is a CSV file viewer, not an Excel file viewer. Of course you can save your spreadsheet as a CSV file, but you probably want to do that as a Save As, to keep your .xls intact with formulas and stuff.
