SMT 5600 deals

Hi,
I am looking to switch to cingular and get the SMT 5600. Direct from Cingular is costing me $250 - $50(MIR).

I would like keep my old number, not sign up for data plan and am willing on selling my soul (sign 2yr contract). No choice!

Anyone know of a better deal? Any adventures with ebay?

On the front page there is a link to Amazon. They have it on sale with rebates for $100 (I think). I don't know how this works with number portability, but the price is good.

I bought mine off ebay (since I don't live in the US) and I haven't had any problems. :D
