Their Bluespoon headsets have always been the smallest of their time. Even their original Bluespoon headset is smaller than most current headsets from other manufacturers. With the Bluespoon 5G, Nextlink has once again outdone themselves. The 5G trumps Nextlink's previous smallest headset (the Bluespoon AX.)"</i><br /><br /> <img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20050603-Nextlink5gReview.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />PocketNow.com has just posted a review of the latest Bluetooth headset from Nextlink, the Bluespoon 5G. The headset weights just 5 grams (get it? 5G - 5 Grams) but it's packed with high quality microphone and audio. I just picked up Nextlink's older version, the Bluespoon AX, off eBay last week. It just arrived in the mail the other day, and I have to tell you that it's small, really small. It's considered a choking hazard because it's so small. 8O I can't imagine Nextlink making anything smaller than this, but they have. Can headsets be too small? Check out the PocketNow review and let us know what you think! :)

Don't do what I did and lose your Bluespoon AX somewhere inside your house!

The necklace that comes with the AX attaches via the Mini USB port. Nothing holds it in place but friction -- and sure enough, one day I looked down and the headset was gone! I was hoping the flashing blue light would help me locate it, but a month later I still haven't found it.

I'm not too upset. While the sound quality was pretty good, the range was poor. Sometimes I'd get static with the handset only 3ft away.

OTOH, now that I've switched to an SMT5600, I'd like to try the AX again. If only I knew where it was! :(

Mike, I just ordered an AX too.

Can you tell me what the sound quality is while driving?

Thanks.

It's great. The only problem I have is outdoors. There is too many other noises that its hard for it to pickup your voice. Otherwise, it's really the best headset I've used.

Thanks Mike...I hope my loud voice carries enough for it not to be an issue. I guess using using it while driving with the top down is out of the question :(

Based on my little expereince; that's out of the question. I've had problems walking downtown as the winds blows between the buildings. :(
