How hard is it to design a website with mobile friendly web pages. 8O Thanks to the decent browsers like pIE and Opera on our Smartphones, we can surf the main Reuters.com website. Do you know of news sites that have mobile friendly web pages? Which is your favorite one?

Even better, they show the Treo 600 displaying the website but it isn't on the list of compatible devices!

I've just tried it on my P910i and it works fine. There doesn't seem to be any technical reason why it shouldn't function on PIE.

I've had several websites that recognize PIE as being IE, and thus send the desktop version of the web page. Reuters seems to be doing the same thing, but the desktop version of the page for mobile.reuters.com is an error that the handset is not supported...

In use several news sites which look excellent on my Smartphone (SMT5600).

MSNBC News: msnbc.msn.com
cNet News: news.com.com
The Inquirer: www.theinquirer.net (awsome site and formatted it for 'me' when I asked them about it's screen format! ;) )

I also was thinking the same thing. Why do they need special software, they are not pushing down news feeds or anything. :?
