It's time to check it out! And give .NET CF a second chance. ;-)

Peter Foot over at Pocket PC Thoughts has posted a link to the .NET CF Redistributable. (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=339657&sid=16135cc27d27cb405724ea2066846eec)

I am impressed by this...

A big change with .NETCF v2.0 is that you can now create device applications using the SDK tools (also in Beta) as well as Visual Studio 2005 Standard edition and above.

Developers don't have to buy expensive Visual Studio to build mobile apps. :-)

Wish Microsoft had planned to release an Express edition of VS for mobile developers. :-(

Whatever happened to the Express version? I remember reading about it, but I've never seen it... :(
