It's just a simple little calculator, but this is a lot easier to use than the default one! The best part about it; it's free. You can get your copy here. 8)

This is so simple that is just wonderful!

Microsoft, please learn from this!

It really is hard to come up with GOOD ways to emulate missing keys or the lack of a touch screen. And it isn't just MS, the Series 60 devices also lack some of these ease-of-us features. I did something similar for the Currency Calculator in CityTime for Smartphone. The biggest problem is that you are limited in navigation without the nav-pad so the number of apps that can do this sort of thing is limited...

The things we learn as devices converge...

Kenny.

I agree. But look at this simple and smart solution!

This is WONDERFUL software. Absolutely how it should work.

It's not a new concept - many non-smartphones use this same exact interface. But for some reason all smartphones I've seen have the most bone-headed calculator interfaces ever. Series 60 is the worst 8O - holy crap it's horrific! But the Windows Mobile default isn't much better.

W-O-W! Now I can think of using the calculator on the Smartphone.

I have this to say to the developer :werenotworthy:

In my Smartphone, pressing the navi-bar does the exact same thing as this program, minus the pretty d-pad graphic but with more real-estate for the numbers. Much better than my T610. I have a SMT-5600 here. What's so great about this software? :?

To me the the pretty d-pad graphic.

I never knew that the standard calculator did d-pad trick. But this program makes it easy to figure which direction is for which operator. :-)

I do like the multi-line display in the standard calculator. But I think the standard calculator is wasting way too much real estate. Wish Microsoft has figured this out. ;-)

Hey, any of you notice this actually runs on a desktop with the .NET Framework?

Not that it's very functional, but still, that's pretty cool. ;)

SmartyCalc is still the most full featured calculator I've found although it makes my brain hurt to try to remember how to use it.. :) http://www.mobilogies.com/
