I've been able to get my MPX220 (1.30) to do just about everything it is capable of but the multimedia messaging has me stumped. I'm using an unlocked cingular on att network and have followed all the setting in the forum for att but when I try and send any pic, I get the following error message: "Unable to connect. Verify your dialup or proxy settings are correct, and try again."
Text messaging, email (pop), internet and surfing work great so I think dialup and proxy settings are correct. Any advice?

Well, I played with it long enough and out of frustration dumped the whole WAP network route and changed the settings for multimedia messaging to use the internet. Voila!! It may be a little slower but now my messages containing photos, film clips, etc. can be received by anybody, not just ATT subscribers. You guys should give it a try.

I have read about user experiencing a lot of problems when it comes to configuring MMS. Glad that you were able to find a fix. Thanks for posting the solution. Will have to keep it in mind if someone else asks for it.
I haven't tried the MMS messages. I think it's time I experienced it. I on T-Mobile, I hope it is a smooth setup.

Works with any subscriber's phone (sending and receiving) depending on whether the other phone can display photos and film clips. One thing though, if you send a film clip to someone's regular pc, they may not get to view it cause the .3gp format. Still looking for a solution and will post if I am successful.
