And the light bulb went off... a Podcast client for my Smart Phone - it was kinda like peanut butter and chocolate, just made to go together. Shortly after this revelation and starting to develop Smart Feed, I heard Adam talk about iPodder SP by Andrew Davey. This seemed to be the ticket for what I was looking for. But being a stubborn developer who was wanting to learn how to develop for my new phone, I pressed on in my "spare time", and the result is Smart Feed."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Temporale-20050323-SmartFeed.bmp" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />Kevin Cawley has just released a podcasting client for Windows Mobile Smartphone. It's open source and it's free. You can't beat those prices! ;) I have yet to get hooked on the whole podcasting thing, but I know a lot of you just can't get enough of it. So tell me this; what's the best podcast out there, and what makes it worth your time? And maybe, just maybe, you'll convert me. :D

http://blogs.msdn.com/mikehall/ has podcast from Podcast from the Mobile and Embedded Devices Group and he is a Microsoft Employee!

The very lame podcast of msmobiles is here:
http://x.msmobiles.com/portal/podcast.xml

And (probably the best Windows Mobile podcast) is here:
http://www.davespda.com/
or URL to RSS feed of the podcast:
http://www.davespda.com/rewind/podcast.php

... and apart from that you must check what your hobbies are - there are many podcasts for each kind of hobby or interest.

Warning: podcasting is not a fad, a flash in the pan. It is hard core technology that is revolutinizing thinking about several things. So embrace it, don't reject it.

What are you blathering about now Jacek?
What are these "several things" and who is doing the "thinking"?

Who is doing the thinking? Adam Curry and nice guys behind http://odeo.com are.

What several things? http://www.podshow.com/ and http://odeo.com that will revolutionize audio blogging as http://www.flickr.com/ revolutionized photo blogging.

So calm down "chucky.egg" - after all we both like UK. I do.

I can understand the idea of podcasting from the "producers" point of view - like a blog, it's an extension of your ego. But from a consumers point of view I think it's less "useful" than things like RSS feeds.

From the links you've posted I can't see anything interesting going on with podcasting. At least not yet.

Make it 2-way (so as a listener I can contribute) and I might join in, but I have enough insane ramblings in my head already without listening to somebody else's
