Sprint is partnering with Warner Music Group and Sony BMG to add music video ringtones to its lineup of available ringers via PCS Vision. For now this is only available on the Sanyo MM-5600, but apparently will be offered on “future multimedia phones.” Hello, can we get some backward compatibility in the house? We’re not big and rich enough to spring for the MM-5600 but gol darnit, we want our Big & Rich all the same, aight?"

Photo caller ID makes sense and custom ringtones makes sense too. But video ringtones? Not sure if I like the idea. You can check out the details about this new service here.
