We are planning for a vacation in Cancun Mexico, and I don't know whether our unlocked STM5600 tri-band will work in that region.
Also, I hear that you can purchase a pre-paid SIM card to be used there. Where can I buy this service? T-mobile is our current carrier.
TIA

You have to buy the SIM card from a carrier in that region. They all sell them. It's just not advertised very much.
I don't have any idea what bands are used in Mexico. Sorry.

I would have recommended T-Mobile International Roaming. But at $1.49 per minute that is expensive.

I would recommend checking out the Mexican carrier's websites. I believe there are two GSM carriers in Mexico.
