How To Configure Your SMT 5600 as a Bluetooth Modem With Cingular & MediaWorks Plan
1. Start by following the instructions in this article

2. Then Go to Control Panel > Phone & Modem Options then on the ADVANCED tab. This will then list all of your modems. Choose the bluetooth modem you have setup. Then Choose Properties and click on the Advanced tab. Inside the Advanced tab is a field for Extra Initialization Commands. Inside of this field enter in teh following text.
AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","wap.cingular"
* Some of you may not have to use AT at the beginning, I did.
3. Then use the following credentials
User: [email protected]
Pass: CINGULAR1
I am trying different passwords to see if they make any difference and will post here when I am done. It would also be cool to put together so settings/tweaks that will enhance surfing with our 135kps connection. I will try and put something together.
