Then again, if you actually believe that once you’ve lost your phone that your social life ends, well, just ask anyone; we’ve all lost a phone, and we’re all still kickin’ it for real. We can definitely say that the only thing truly scary about losing your phone is having to buy a new one without carrier subsidy—good god!"</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Kris-Jan05-CellphoneMissing.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />Mike had recently <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=50568">asked</a> our readers what they liked the most about Windows Mobile Smartphone. And one of the most liked feature is the sync capability, which really helps us in maintaining one address book. 8) Unlike the people in the survey by <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4287357.stm">BBC News,</a> I am more concerned about losing an expensive phone, that has a lot of personal data from my driver's license to credit card numbers. And another thing that concerns me is that I have put in a lot of effort customizing the phone to my needs and I will have to start all over again. What do you fear the most about losing your Smartphone?

The biggest fear about losing my MPx220 would be that I might find it!

Logical fallacy - those who have died because of it are not around ot tell the story.

I'm not scared of loosing any part of it. I have backups, and I sync all the time. What would get me upset? Loosing the money I spent on it, and knowing that I would have to shell out more coin to get another one. Hey, these things aren't cheap!

Noooooooooo!! It's not possible. :worried: Perhaps you don't realize how much I rely on my devices for contact, appointments, and email.

That brings up another issue. In the states here we can add phone insurance to our cell bills. Do you have that up in Canada?

Hrm, Maybe. I don't think so. I haven't been offered it, or seen it on any forms. Of course, I'm not using the carriers phone anyway, so it wouldn't be much benefit to me anyway.
There are some companies that sell insurance. We've posted about them in the past. I can't think of the name or price, but it's not something I'm really fond of doing.

I've never gotten it myself. I just carry a cyanide pill. If I ever lost anyone of my gadgets I will just bite down on the pill.

I would probably cry if I lost my cellphone. Pay $$ for a new one, buy a new SIM, what a hassle.
Funny how attached we get to our possessions.
