There are a number of different solutions out there. What are you running for an email server? Is it yours? can you install add ons? or is it an ISP email?

I believe you have the MPx220. It comes with Cingular XPressMail. (https://xpressmail.cingular.com/docs/Personal_Edition_QuickStart.pdf) [PDF file]
It "offers" push based mail.

For ISP, you can look at Smartner Duality, or I think Good has a product for ISP. If you're using the MPx220 on Cingular, they offer an ISP solution too - and I think it's free.
As for Hotmail, I don't think you can get that pushed to your handset. There is a 3rd party tool that will allow you to check your hotmail account from your phone. You can read more about it here --> http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6703

MPx220 runs Java app.
For Hotmail access, the app that Mike mentioned is good, because it extends the Outlook inbox and adds the Hotmail mailbox to the accounts.
However it does not let you view HTML based mails, only plain text. :-(

Since we're on the topic...
What would anyone suggest for working with my yahoo e-mail. I have tried accessing it by going through the web browser onto yahoo's mobile site, but it is SLOW and riddled with problems (the login returns errors which I am convinced are caused by Microsoft because I am not using their hotmail).
Thanks in advance.
