I feel like this off topic forum is a bit slower than it should be, so I'm going to go ahead and get something going.

I was talking to a co-worker today about this year in movies. Some good stuff happening -- Sin City, War of the Worlds, The Weather Man...

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

The best book in the series. So waiting eagerly for the movie.

Sin City, War of the Worlds, The Weather Man...

I had not heard of these movies, so I looked them up on IMDB; Here's my initial thoughts. (I haven't viewed the trailers for any of them - don't even know if they are available or not)

Sin City (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0401792/) - Stars Bruce Willis
Sounds interesting, kind of like a CSI episode - not a new concept. The cover they've posted looks nice.

War Of The Worlds (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407304/) - Stars Tom Cruise
This sounds like Independence Day all over again? Martians invade Earth and the US is the worlds only hope for survival. I'm sure it's going to be loaded with action, and Spielberg always does a good job. :D

The Weather Man (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0384680/) - Stars Nicolas Cage, Michael Caine
I'm uncertian about this one. Nicolas has done some really good work in his career, but not lately. The story sounds a little dry, I hope they are just trying to keep things under wraps until it gets closer to the release. :?

Just heard about this one... HALO might be coming to the big screen. Not sure if it will hit in 2005, but it's something I'm really interested in seeing. The game scares the crap out of me at times, so hopefuly this movie will too. :mrgeen:
