Disable Camera Sound

Is there a way to disable the sound when you take a picture with the camera?

(Dunno if this is a phone-specific thing; I have an mpx220)

Not sure about the MPx220, but on the 5600, just hit menu / Options / General and you'll see an "Disable shutter sound". That should do it.

There is an indirect way but I can't remember it as the MPx220 doesn't have it in a menu. You can also if you are inclined go to this registry key and make it 0
