This version finally convinced me to buy it. I've been messing with XML code up till now. I'm going to give this a try.

Well, you can do it by hand, which is what we all had to do before this came along. Man that sucked. Homescreen Designer has changed the world of custom homescreens. :D

There also is that rudimentary one that Microsoft has. It is pretty basic though. You cant do anything with plug-ins either.

This has been a great week. First I get HSD as part of MoDaCo Plus member and now I won a copy of Papyrus I am going to be busy this weekend.

Nice as this program is, I still find it easier to mess with the XML code to get what I want. However I would still recommend it. It is a good program.

As much fun as playing with the XML is, HD really does a great job. Allowing easy point and click access to change colours, Startup/shutdown screens, carrier logos, and so much more. I don't miss playing around with that XML file. It's just one less thing to worry about.

No question it is easier and does a fine job. I suppose I am just being sentimental about staying up all hours to get some dumb piece of code to work. :fadein:
