Install to MiniSD.... am I dense?

Man I hate being a newbie :cry: Well, I picked up a brand spanking new 512 MB MiniSD card to install in my almost brand spanking new SP3i. So how do I install applications to the card? When I install something new through ActiveSync the option "Install program into the default installation folder" is checked and greyed out. So it appears that I have no choice but to install any new software to the memory on the phone. So what am I missing?

When the install starts on the phone, you should be prompted with a question about where to install the application. The default will be phone, but you can easily toggle it to storage card.

I'm also new to smartphones but am very familiar with PPCs. When Activesync asks you to install to the default, say no. Then there will be a drop-down box where you can pick storage card for loading.

The Smartphone doesn't give you the option like that. The option of where to install will only come up on the phone itself.

Thanks Jerry, I'm all set now. I installed Papyrus and a few other programs on the MiniSD and all is working well. I love this phone!
