I'm relatively new to the Smartphone world and during the course of my day to day use of my phone I've come across a couple of things that I can do on my PocketPC that I can't find on my Smartphone. I wasn't sure if I wasn't looking in the right place or if they're features that just aren't supported on the Smartphone O/S.
First, is there any type of Cut/Paste capability. For example, if I'm reading an E-mail and the text contains a website or phone number, I know I can click on the link and either automatically dial the number or go to the website. However, I can't find a way to Copy the number or website so that I can subsequently Paste it say in their contact record or notes section of their contact record. Being lazy :) , I hate having to retype the information if there's a better way.
Second, is there a way to scroll up or down real fast in areas with a lot of text. For example, on my PocketPC I can place the stylus on the "block" in the scrollbar and just drag it to the top/bottom of it's range and get to where I want quickly. Obviously we dont' have a stylus, but wondered if there was a key combination or some trick to achieve the same thing.
Finally, did I misconfigure something or did Microsoft miss the "Company Number" field from Outlook on the SmartPhone contacts? I was surprised to find just about every phone number I had in my Outlook contacts was there, but Company Number isn't a part of the list.
Thanks!
