That’s it. That concludes my initial impression of the Bluespoon AX (I’m just kidding). The first thing I noticed while using the AX is that the person I’m talking to no longer complains about hearing their own echoes. A handful of the pre-production units had this problem, and it’s been resolved in the production model. Nextlink did a great job with the AX by focusing on the form factor resulting in a headset that’s extremely comfortable to wear without sacrificing quality and features."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/web/2003/nextlink_ax_front.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />I've been hearing good things about the AX, but I still don't use (or even want) a Bluetooth headset myself. I'm sure if I made/received more phone calls on my phone I'd be more interested, but I use my Smartphone/Pocket PC as more of a mobile data terminal for Web and email access more than a voice device. ;-) Check out the article for details on the Bluespoon AX.

The AX is a truly amazing headset. The way it fits in your ear (as opposed to wrapping around the top of your ear like other BT headsets) is incredible. It's very light and the sound quality is really really good. Battery life for me so far has been very good. I am really impressed with this headset. And for $70 you really can't go wrong.

I had the Logitech Mobile Freedom (their new $69 headset) and while the sound was pretty decent, the fit is horrible, it pulls my whole ear down in order to wear it, and it takes both hands to put it on (one pulling the ear back to fit it over). The AX can be put on quite easily with just one hand in matter of a second or 2.

Where did you find this for such a good price?

Mike, I got it direct from Nextlink:

Actually, $74 is what I paid, plus shipping of $33, so $107 US total, but I had it in 3 days and now they are out of stock until Mid January.

There is a guy over in the Howard Forums (mixmaven) who is selling them for $70 + $8 s&amp;h (in the US), don't know if he has any more in stock right now, which is why I ordered direct from Nextlink. The retail price is supposed to be $70-$75 by the way.
