Earpiece Noise

When I get a call I get static noise out of the earpiece, does this happen to anyone else? I just got this phone so I could still take it back.

I believe you are talking about the MPx220.

I have noticed it on the older firmware of the MPx220. But in the latest version 1.30, I don't think I have noticed it. You can go into Start->Settings->About and look for the Manufacturer version, if it is .325 or .342, get it replaced.

Usually it also happens when the signal quality is poor. So do ensure that you are in an area with good coverage.

Yes it is the 220, but I did a master reset and still I get noise and it's the newer version and I live in NYC so I got all the bars. Taking it back today and keep you posted. Thanks
