The MMCmicro has been designed as a response to the decreasing size of mobile phone cameras. The card has exceptionally good read and write speeds for such a small device at 10MB and 7MB per second respectively. Production of the MMCmicro will begin early next year with 32MB, 64MB and 128MB capacities."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/samsung_mmcmicro.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />TransFlash wasn't small enough??

ARGH. Lets just standardize on one format people! I don't want to buy new memory everytime I buy a new phone.

NOOOOOoooooooooo...

Not only are you forced to buy new memory formats, they are expensive and initially they don't have the capacity you need.

By the time SD cards hit the 1GB mark for cheap, I moved to mini-SD. And was forced to buy 256MB mini-SD :-( And now this MMCmicro.

Not to mention - they're so small you'd probably end up losing them.

All we need is an adapter. An adapter that can fit 8 of these MMC micros into the size of a SD card.
