MPX220 and Best Buy

Sorry if this is a repeated message but I was wondering how you would go about getting your ROM version upgraded if you buy the MPX220 from Best Buy WITHOUT a contract. Thanks.

Most people have reported that they just phone Cingular and they will replace it with the latest ROM. However, you should also be able to get BB to handle it if you return within the 30 warranty period.

If you have Cingular you can call them at (800) 801-1101 to ask for another phone. They took care of me twice. Be sure you tell them you are having trouble with the phone (volume, camera, etc) and not just that you want the new ROM.

What if I don't have Cingular but T-Mobile.

you'll probably have to send it back to Motorola to get it flashed with the most recent ROM. T-Mobile won't be able to help...good luck!
