In tests conducted jointly by the TSA, the International Imaging Industry Association and the helpful folks at SanDisk (who can smell a PR opp a mile off), a range of memory cards were repeatedly run through x-rays and metal detectors and emerged unscathed. I go through airport security checkpoints about 5 times a week. 8)
