Ringtone Sound quiter than Windows Media Sound

I have an MPX220 and when i put an MP3 song into my sounds folder and use it as a ringtone it is not near as loud as when it is played in Windows Media Player. Any Ideas?

I don't have a 220, but I don't think it supports MP3 playback for ringtones. This could be the problem. :? Maybe I'm wrong...

No, it definitely supports it...I take an mp3, put it in application data/sounds and can assign it to a contact no problem. However, when it rings it plays quiter than it does on windows media.

I've experienced the same reduced volume on mine as well.

has anyone ever noticed the keypad tones or any system sounds becoming very low or nonexistent after perfoming a couple of tasks....it eventually resets or will after a soft reset but is kind of annoying......

Hmmm I always have those all turned off.
