Keep backlight on when charging?

Does anyone know a way for windows mobile to set the backlight to stay on while the phone is plugged into the mains and is charging?

The reason I ask is that with my Ipaq I was able to set the light to stay on when on mains, and as I now have a car kit installed to charge my phone I would find having the display lit up all the time would be more useful then it constantly turning off after 30 seconds.

I dont want to have to switch between setting it to 30 seconds and never as that would be pointless really.

Sadly, no I don't. Although it sounds small, this is an option I think a lot of people would like to see.

Especially at this time of the year when most my driving is when it is dark and I cannot see the screen at all, even day time driving would make it easier to see.

I just cant think why they didnt bring the feature over from pocket PC 2003

When you think about it - smartphones are almost near perfect except for minor little flaws like this. I love my smartphone but there are a few very small things that bug me because I don't honestly know why it can't be done.

I wish you luck in solving this problem. All I can say is that with any luck we'll see more things for smartphones as time goes on.
