Is the MPX220 Safe to buy??

Is the MPX 220 safe to buy now with the 1.30 ROM? When I say safe to buy I mean. It works fairly well. volume good,not shut down problems?

Actually, I thought the .325 version was safe to buy. I mean I used mine for 2 weeks and had the same problems but nothing that was so irritating I would forget about all the other features and the possibilities.

I still have the .342 version now and am waiting for a month or so to see if they are changing anything else in the F/W.

I guess it all depends on the functions you want it for and how you use your SP.

I am very satisfied even with the problems i have encountered.
Although the 5600 seems like a nice phone too. I might have to get one of those for myself.

The 1.3 ROM seems to have fixed most of the problems. The volume is much better. It hasn't locked up on shutdown either....yet. 8)

ditto on ROM 1.3...no issues to date and i've been REALLY messing around with the registry, too.

Overall I'm very happy with the 1.30 ROM, the only problem I'm having is the mic on the phone only works for calls(Voice Recognition works perfect all the time) when it wants to. So I'm just using my BT200(Thank God it's comfortable!:D) all the time to be safe. I'm not gonna call Cingular until I see if there is gonna be another ROM update, cause I think it's a firmware glitch, not hardware, since V/R works perfect all the time, even if I all most whisper.

I finally got mine tonight from the Cingular Corp store in my area, FW1.3 looks good to me.
