View Full Version : Problems with Jabra BT headset and mpx220?

I had no problem pairing my Jabra BT200 to my mpx220, but I've noticed that the phone can't be more than arm's distance in order to avoid loud crackling interference.

This is my first Bluetooth headset, so maybe my expectations were too high? Is anyone else having this problem, or do I maybe have a bum headset? :?

I have had the crackling problem on my Motorola BT HS810 headset and MPx220. I never suspected MPx220. But now that I have SP3i which gives clear voice on the same headset, I have started to suspect it is another MPx220 issue. :-(

And your post confirms it.

I have tried version .325 and .342. Waiting for the 1.30. What version do you have?

My BT200 works fine with my MPx220. I'm running Ver: 1.30 now. It' worked with the .325 version too, but I never checked the distance with it.

I've had the same experiance with my MPx220 but havent tried it since I got the 1.3 phone. Now that you have reminded me I will try it and post back.

I'm running .343, AT&T. It would be interesting to see if 1.3 could fix it. If it ever comes out for ATT...

It still crackles, not as much though. I should point out that I got the same crackle with my old v600 as well. My v710 doesn't crackle.

Headset is HS810.
