What is your ideal smartphone design? I was just sitting her thinking about it, and drew up this quick sketch. Its like a combination of the i600 (flip phone) and the voq (thumbboard), but with a twist (or rather... slide).

And in case anyone/manufactures wanted to steal this design, its copyrighted and i have a patent on the sliding keyboard flip phone design :wink:

I like how you slide it so the display gets centered. I always thought the voq looked silly and probably felt silly in the hand.

Interesting design. I would be concerned about the thickness of the bottom half before it unfolds. And the slide would need to snap in place. 8)
