Could you make some recommendations for a leather case for my SMT5600? I'd like to buy from a company in the US, to save on shipping costs.

Try the Krussell case over at executivepda.com. It cost me under $30.00 shipped via UPS. It works well. It's a pretty good fit and looks pretty good. It's doing the job until something fancier comes along.
