Bank accounts, credit card information, emergency contact numbers, travel documents, software registration codes, online passwords, calling cards, gift ideas, clothing sizes, ATM Pins, you name it! FlexWallet has a full-featured desktop version, industrial strength 128-bit encryption for maximum data security, the ability to create your own templates, over 110 colorful icons to visually identify your information, and much more."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/FW2_SP_TreeView1.gif" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/> <br /><br />Happy day! :D I'm a huge fan of FlexWallet, and to a large degree it's one of the most important applications I own because access it so often. I must open my FlexWallet data file 10-20 times a day on my desktop computer, and when I'm out of my office it's critical that I have my FlexWallet data with me. For a long time, that meant having to carry my Pocket PC <i>simply for that one purpose</i>, which kind of sucked. And invariably, the one time I'd leave my office with only my Smartphone, I'd end up needing something inside my FlexWallet file! <br /><br />No more: FlexWallet 2005 is finally available for the Smartphone. I've been beta testing this for a few weeks, and it works wonderfully - exactly the way it should. Two Peaks have also added a few welcomed enhancements to the desktop client, including the ability to automatically show passwords (one of my pet peeves with earlier versions). Two big thumbs up to Two Peaks for this great new version of FlexWallet 2005, and an even bigger thanks that they listen to feedback from their customers.<br /><br /><b>UPDATE:</b> If you already happen to own this software for your Pocket PC, you can <a href="http://www.twopeaks.com/site/products/FlexWallet2/purchase.aspx">save 50% off the Smartphone version</a>. Nice!

That is right - When I was browsing through the site yesterday after reading this story I got to a page in which it said you get 75% off for upgrading. I tried and got it for 75% off, so it works. The page is

Great timing! Just got my SMT5600 a few weeks ago and was wondering what I was going to do about not having Flex Wallet with me... Carry around my PDA with me? That's one of the reasons I bought the smartphone (didn't think about the Flex Wallet at the time  ). Sometimes you just get lucky! :)
There is one warning I have to put out there... You have to upgrade all of the versions of Flex Wallet! If you don't, the data files won't read correctly! I already had an earlier version of 2005 (2.x) on my PDA but had to download the newer version (2.5). After I reinstalled everything has worked just fine.
It also comes with a little utility for sync'ing between the desktop and phone. To bad it doesn't work with the PDA as well.

But the Pocket PC has a file sync conduit with ActiveSync, so if you just leave the FlexWallet data file in your Pocket PC synchronized file directory, it should sync just fine...

My bad, you're right, of course... I keep my data files under lock and key on my PPC, so I manually copy them.
Anyway nice free-bee util since smartphones don't file sync.

I bought this software and it seems very nice. I have one problem. I cannot seem to sync from the desktop to the smartphone. It asks me to check off the "Files" box in the Sync Options menu in ActiveSync so it can sync the files to my phone. Well, there is no "Files" box. I only find contacts, calendar, tasks and some other stuff. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling ActiveSync and no go.
I tried getting some info on another forum and I was told that you cannot set up sync file through active sync.
Any advice would be great.

Some bad news for you: Microsoft did not add file sync support to the Smartphone. There are only two ways to get files onto your Smartphone:
1) Drag and drop them using ActiveSync
2) Use a program where the developer has created a file sync conduit for their file (i.e.: TwoPeaks' FlexWallet)
So what I find strange then is that, assuming you've installed both the desktop and Smartphone version of the app, you SHOULD see a file sync option...but I have to admit I haven't tried this yet. When I was testing the beta I just manually copied the wallet over once.

Thanks. While I was at work, I went to their website and found the cure. I was able to use the extra sync program that comes with it and it worked perfectly.
Thanks for the help!!
Allan :)
