It's a well-designed, well-made handset that looks good and feels more expensive than it is. The battery life is decent, and the screen excellent. Yes, it's software bundle lacks some essential mobile office tools, and there's no Bluetooth connectivity on offer, but it's still a very fine product for buyers seeking solid PDA functionality in a mobile phone form-factor."

The 8390 is the second generation of the Mitac Mio Smartphone, and Mike also did a nice review on that a few months ago. The first word that comes to my mind when thinking of the Mitac Mio clamshell phones is "big". If I read that this one is 25 percent heavier than a C500, I think I'd prefer the smaller one. But the second and third words according to the reviews would probably be "fast" and "quality". What do you feel? Would those be worth the sacrifice in weight and size to you?
