SmartPhone programming

Hi,

I am new to smart phone development. I am trying to develop an managed application that can receive the sms that comes to a smart phone and reply to it.

I did see the managed code on Microsoft site. But it doesnt work. I tried it with the Pocket PC 2003. It just gives the notification as usual and not in the application that is running.

I would be happy if anybody can help me out with the above.
