Hi
I iuse to have a program that allowed me to take screen shots of my SmartPhone and now that I have the 5600 I can't find the software again. Does anyone have a link to one? Thanks in advance.

Cheryl

Also Jeyo Mobile Companion lets you take screen shots. They do offer trial download.

Oh, if you are a developer, you can install the Smartphone SDK (download it for free from Microsoft site). And use the CEZoom.exe that comes with the SDK tools. You will have to search for the exe after installing the SDK, no icon is created in the Start Menu for the app. :-( But the SDK has some of the best tools.

here are a couple:

SmartSS (http://www.louterrailloune.com/index.php?page=smartss) is pretty good, and version 1 is free. However, I have had problems with this not actually saving the screen shot until I exit the app. Good for the price, but not much beyond that.

ScreenShotSP (https://www.smartphone.net/smartphonethoughts/software_detail.asp?id=868) is very nice. It can take screen shots of just about anything. I have been using this for a couple weeks, and I'm really impressed with it. The one downside, is that it doesn't have an "exit" on in-active mode. I have to launch the app, and then turn off the key mapping when I'm done using it.

Much better and helpful answer than mine. :-) I live in the dark ages (suggesting non-friendly tools). Thanks Mike.

Not at all. You're suggestions are good tools. However, for some reason, I have had no luck getting the PowerToy one to work. It never seems to recognize that my device is connected. :?

Those are pretty handy, since you can snap the pictures from your desktop/laptop so you don't have to worry about storing them on the phone. Of course, if you're out and about, this solution won't work very well.

There's a wealth of knowledge on this site. Just ask away. Most times, someone will know something that can help you out.
