And the first step to solving that problem is to admit the problem. So here goes... I love flash memory. I crave new larger capacity cards like they're water. All of my SD cards combined offer approximately 3GB of storage. I can't possibly fill them all, yet I want and crave more. I used to toss them in a pocket of my backpack. The problem is, they would get lost while I hike around the city from client to client. I've dumped that pocket out many times to find a missing SD card. It usually turns up wedged in between some other gadget and its case. My flash memory addiction will take time to get over, but thankfully Vaja has a solution for my missing SD card problem.

Read on for more info!<!>
<PAGEBREAK>
Style At All Levels
Even the box is dripping with style. It's small, sturdy, and has a huge overall cool factor to it. In fact, I still have the box because I can't bring myself to part with it. It's just too nice.

Figure 1: The yet-unopened box. Inside lies the best thing that could ever happen to an SD card.

Figure 2: There it is! Nice and snug inside the box. :D

Size Matters
The SD Keeper is the perfect sized holder. It has a total of 4 SD slots, with each slot using "Push, Push" technology to hold your card in place. In case you are not familiar with Push, Push. It works the same way as the SD slot on your Smartphone. You push the SD card in until it clicks in place. Then to release the card, you push in again for the latch to release and eject the card.

Figure 3: When folded, the SD Keeper is pretty small.

Figure 4: It's just begging for me to load it up with SD cards. :D

Attention To Detail
If the wafting smell of leather when you open the box doesn't tell you that you're in the presence of a fine product, then maybe Vaja's attention to detail will. There is no wasted space here. In fact, I marvel at how Vaja can even assemble this. There is no sign of excess glue, stitching, or scissors marks. Every corner is edge seems to be a perfect fit.

Figure 5: Check out how clean and perfectly trimmed each corner is. Vaja is selling more than just a case to store your SD cards, it's also a fashion statement. The SD Keeper does offer features that you will never find in a cheap velcro-based flash memory carrier, like a hard shell, "Push Push" technology, and fine grain leather. These features are what put the Vaja SD Keeper in a league of its own.

You could buy another card for that price.

Cute. It is a bit pricey though.

Too expensive.

I got a made-in-taiwan 4 SD card case which has almost the same feature (magnetic closure, push push mechanism, etc.), and the price was only $4.

Yeah, Maximus, where?

One issue I have with this case (only one - cost is not an issue with it as it is Vaja and therefore worth every penny) is the fact that Vaja offered a six SD holder for a very short while. If they still offered it, I would be all over it. But I guess I'll have to consider this one.

I have a set of iPorter xSD cases, but imo the implementation of the holders for the back two cards in each unit is just not done very well. So I'm still on the lookout for a good SD case and this may be it. I just wish they still offered their six SD holder.

It's on the website. From the Vaja home page, cliuck products/accessories. Then hit the SD Keep x4 (yes, I know 4 not 6, but hang in there! ;) ) Then scroll down the page. The 3rd item on the page is the VA151 - 6SD card case. And it costs less than the x4. :?

8O That wasn't there last time I checked!

Finally! Something to use the PPCT discount for!

However, the old version was an iVolution case, which I prefer the looks of to the Classic line, which this new 6SD Keeper is.

Also, they've bumped the 4 SD iVolution case to $49.95 and this new case comes in at $39.95.

I won a $50 gift certificate at PPCT, so I ordered me one of these. :D
