Can someone please comment on the MPX220's shortcomings?

Over on Hofo I'm reading comments from people who have just bought this phone saying audio is very low and people on the other end are having trouble hearing them. Also saying hinge is very flimsy and battery life is a problem.

I really want one of the phones but want to hear from some more people.
