Well, it's taken a little longer than that, but it has finally appeared. If Pocket IE doesn't live up to your expectations, then I strongly suggest you take a look at ThunderHawk.
I've tried several times today to download the trial and that link is dead. Anyone else have better luck?

Does this enable clipping for offline viewing?
I really would like an Avantgo alternative.

I downloaded the CAB and it installs fine. But when I launch ThunderHawk on the phone, it prompts for registration. I cannot cancel and proceed, so I enter the fields and it tries to register/verify me. At that point it pops up the "Bad Connection" error message.
Anyone else have any luck?

Found this in the FAQ...

It seems like ThunderHawk does not like "Automatic" in the Data Connections (Programs -> Settings -> Data Connections ). It needs a specific setting to be selected. Now that's bad.

Downloaded the trial, this program is utter garbage. You can only view in split screen, where you cant even make out the full view because the resolution is so low, and single screen where the formatting is not good at all.
On top of that what is up with the goofy cursor?!? It is so agonizingly slow. Why is there no option just for a selector like in pocket IE? It is agonizing just to choose a link, god forbid it is on the bottom of the page.
So all of this for $5.95 per month? LOL!

I was also a little confused with the way the interface is designed. And also the cursor movement speed. ;-) The application has a lot of potential and has a unique/impressive approach to browsing. I love the way the page scrolls with re-paint or flicker. :-) But I don't think this application can get the Windows Logo certification because of the way they handle the Back button and the way the menu works. :-(
You can tell that they are using their own Menu controls / Soft Key menus instead of the one provided by the Smartphone OS.
