(Note: Adobe PDF Reader is required to view these spec sheets.) Hopefully this announcement means that the North American version won't be far behind. Either one of these devices would do very nicely for me. :D

Update: Sorry, I forgot to mention that the other 2 devices are Pocket PC Phone Edition devices.

I'm curious about the JAMS version. I read somewhere that the T-Mobile phone would have a MP3 version, which sounds similiar...
Wonder what the difference between those versions and the ones we've seen so far is?

Here's what our press release has to say about the JAMS device. Keep in mind that this is a Pocket PC Phone Edition device.
The i-mate™ JAM is set to become the ultimate single solution to the communications and entertainment needs of the modern Australian. The smooth curves of this tiny PDA hide massive functionality in its small form. It’s very stylish, packed with features and completely customizable. Designed for those who demand value without compromise on quality, the i-mate™ JAM effectively offers a SUVs’ functionality and a Rally Cars’ performance
You can see a picture of it in the press release (http://www.imate.com/files/(09092004-221339)-PR%20CDL0025%20-%20i-mate%20announce%20four%20new%20devices%20in%20Aus%20090904%20_3_.pdf) at the top of page 2, on the right.

YAYAYAYA! time to start saving, i assume vodaphone will pick them up in New Zealand, but if i have to order from .com.au then thats ok my me. just wish they took full SD Cards.
from the press release:
"The i-mate™ SP3 is expected to be heavily in demand by the discerning mobile
user wanting functionality, and a great looking compact mobile. It has a sharp
full colour screen, built in digital camera, MMS & Bluetooth support, as well as a
full range of applications including Pocket Outlook, Windows Media Player,
Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger and Games. All this, in a café friendly cool
blue metallic finish.
Likewise, the i-mate™ SP3i has similar functionality but suits the serious phone
user with it’s simple joystick operation, 64K full colour screen, and a straight
shooting black & silver finish. Especially built for dynamic 3D gaming, the device
also comes packed with multiplayer, online interactive games from i-mate™
Interactive. The sleek device is designed to take gaming everywhere."
in summary the difference is: one has a better joystick.

so it looks like the race is on for my money, either the MPx220 or the SP3i - which ever comes to market first and reaches the magic price point of $350, they are going to be mine.
