Unlocking the c500

Hi there all

I’m about to get my hands on a c500 from Orange and I was wondering if anyone else out there has one that they have managed to unlock? I will be using it mostly in the USA on TMob so before I actually pull the trigger I want to make sure that I will be able to use it.

Hey Ben, why not hold off and pick up a qtek 8010 or imate 3? It's the same phone, and it's expected around the start of September. oh, and they will be unlocked when you buy it.

Good point. Thing is....I have a good relationship with O which means I'll get it for a greatly reduced price. If that wasn't the case I would be going for the non O-rangized version.

Well, that changes things a little. :wink: I haven't seen anything about unlocking the C500, but there are a fair number of websites dedicated to unlocking phones. I'm sure it won't be long before they add the C500 to the list.

I hear imei-check.co.uk are on the verge of unlocking the C500 as they have the MPx200 and e200.
