The problem is that they only accept international orders for $1000 minmum pre-paid with a wire transfer. So if you can band together with 10 other Canadian friends then you could pull it off :) Or just call them up and see if they'd be willing to ship to Canada since its not that much of an international location relative to the US ;)

Or you can check Pricewatch for dealers who'd be willing to ship to Canada. There are tons of dealers with 1 GB SD around the $100 range -

Check them one by one. Perhaps some of them might be willing to ship to Canada. But be sure to check their ratings in resellerratings.com before ordering.

Annoyed by the fact that I this couldn't be shipped Internationally and in particular the UK, I had a quick look around.

Digimem.biz are selling Peak 1GB SD cards for £85.05 + VAT = £99.95 with FREE DELIVERY. :D

Ok, $1000 pre-paid by wire transfer!? No thanks. I'm sure I could come up with 10 friends, but I think that those restrictions are a little unrealistic.

I checked out a bunch of the PriceWatcher links, and I didn't find any that would ship to Canada. :(

BTW, I was getting ready to drop $100 CDN (about $80 US) on a 512MB SD card when this news came in. This was/is the best price I can find in Canada for SD memory. They have 1GB cards, but the price is over $200 CDN, which is just not worth it.

Why? It's only $100 :wink: I plan on putting it in my Pocket PC. Allowing me to carry more music, maps, and pictures of the family.

However, you do make a good point, and I have been meaning to make a miniSD post... I'll try and set that up today.
