Designed with simplicity in mind, @Sat makes it easy to track and display real-time trajectories of spacecraft such as the International Space Station, the Hubble Telescope, the new Spitzer Infrared Space Telescope and the Space Shuttle. You can also download the latest images from the Hubble Space Telescope, the Spitzer Infrared Telescope, the Mars Rovers Missions, and the Cassini-Huygens Mission. ...A proprietary OTE (Orbital Tracking Engine) will tell you when the International Space Station and other orbiters are visible with the unaided eye from your location. A graphical tracking screen clearly displays information on when and where to look to spot the ISS. All you need to know is which direction is North! Highly recommended. Here in New Mexico with wide open skys and no interferring lights sky viewing is amazing. Watching the shuttle go by is good fun and this software makes it possible.

That was my biggest concern. Here in the city, you don't often get to see too many stars. I'm going to download the demo and take it with me to the cottage next weekend. The sky is wide open up there! This will be very cool. I'll report back on my findings. :D

I will also give it a try....I like feature that lets you add Outlook appointment so that you don't miss the event. Fool proof! :)

My product SATALERT was the first app to create Outlook "Viewing Reminders" for ISS and MIR naked-eye sightings almost four years ago:

And since my app runs on a desktop PC (and creates the reminders in Outlook), it will work with any device that can sync with Outlook, including Smartphone/Pocket PC 2003 and 2002 devices, and it costs a little less too :D

Smart approach 8) That's two solid ideas.

Now that you reminded me, I remember running into your app when I was looking at the Vnotes on Smartphone.net. And while I writing my previous post, I felt that I have seen this feature before. But was not sure where.

Glad that you mentioned it. I must give you credit for coming up with this fool proof feature. :D

This is an excellent app and well worth the low registration fee. However, that's a bit of a big animated Gif on the front page there mate!

Ya, I didn't pay attention to the size when I set it up, and ever since I've noticed that it takes a fair amount of time for the main page to load (when I'm on dialup). I'll see what I can do about reducing it. Thanks.
