Ah, but for those of us with flat-rate GPRS, this is very cool. :-) I love apps that take advantage of connectivity! Although if it's 100% online, that's not so good, because I sometimes find myself without GPRS. :-(

I agree it would be the best to have both off-line and on-line capabilities for apps like iPedia. However, in iPedia's particular case it's just not possible. iPedia's data are more than 600 MB uncompressed. After compressing we might half the size to around 300 MB. There aren't many people that would be willing to give up 300 MB on an external memory card for one program.

But the moment we get Smartphones with 10 GB hard-drives, we'll be the first to use that to make off-line version of iPedia.
