Well in fact PocketTV Classic works also on all Smartphone 2003 that are set in "prompt" mode by the carrier, i.e. Smartphone that can run un-signed application.

If your Smartphone requires applications to be signed, then you can use PocketTV Enterprise Edition (http://www.smartphone.net/software_detail.asp?id=115).

We also have a solution for Mio Mitac 8390, based on earlier work from our friends Picard and schriss. If you have a Mio Mitac 8390:

1) download GAPI Solution - Signing Pack.zip (http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?p=418650#418650)

2) extract the files from the zip on your PC and run "sign.bat" while your Mio Mitac 8390 is connected and sync.

That's all!

This should allow you to run PocketTV Classic version 0.14.15 or later.

For more information about the Mio Mitac 8390 patch, you can check http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=110450

I was just wondering...

How fast does it work now... let's say if the file is optimized for the Smartphone screen?

Any average fps ratings for the Smartphone?

Thanks.

If the file is optimized for the Smartphone screen, it should play at nominal fps (i.e. no dropped frame).
