The new LEDs are up to 12 times brighter than most current camera phone flashes, allowing consumers to take high-quality photos in low light at distances of 1 to 2 meters."</i><br /><br />Hopefully they are just 12 times brighter and not 12 times more power hungry. :wink: It looks like this flash is already being used in some European phones, and it should find it's way to the US and Asia before the end of the year. There is no mention of which phones use the new Lumileds.
