This series of articles will provide instructions about how to make games for the Windows Mobile-based Smartphone...This is supposed to be a bit of fun and will develop over time. You are going to add features one at a time so that at the end you have some little games and a set of tools that can be used to create other games. The techniques I am using have been chosen for simplicity."

This two part MSDN article by Rob Miles provides an excellent tutorial on How-to begin games programming. In case like me, you are not interested in writing games, I would still recommend this well written article as an introduction to programming the Smartphone using Microsoft .NET Compact Framework and Visual Studio .NET 2003. The second part of the article can be read over here. Word of advice, if you are on diet, I would not recommend this article. :-) I think its time for me to order a pizza.

"Welcome to the world of programming with cheese."

Lets just hope it's not Swiss cheese. There are too many holes out there already.
