I'm sure there's a way to copy and paste text on my i600, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how. I've read and read the manual to no avail.... anyone knows how?
Thanks!!

Smartphones do not support copy-paste out of the box. The only third party app that I know that does copy paste is xBar.

What kind of self-respecting PDA can call itself that without copy & paste!?
Jeez, I guess I need to get xBar then. Hmmmpth.
Thanks though.

I believe the primary reason is the lack of touch screen. But I am sure there are ways around it :-)

Anyone know if xBar will work on the i600?

I just installed XBar 2.2 this morning and so far it seems to be working ok.

I had heard that it was creating problems (I think crashes) but I miss it a lot so I decided to take the chance.

Like I said so far, so good!

xBar works on Smartphone 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003. So regardless of the OS it should work. And it is a signed application.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work and the website doesn't say that it doesn't work with i600. Go ahead give it a try! You will love it.

Well I took a chance and it will install and run on my i600. But, the copy and paste functionality is apparently broken on i600 phones due to some issue with the volume buttons.

Damn I hate it when the developers don't have a trial version. And, I've never tried, but I suppose it'll be impossible to get my money back from Handango.

I would recommend sending a mail to the xBar folks. MPx also had similar a problem, that has now been fixed.
