MP3's as ring tones in WM 2003

I know I saw a post about this but danged if I can find it. So where do you put the MP3's to be used as ring tones? BTW using a Samsung I600.

Depends on the phone. Some models (the i600 included) can't handle MP3's as ringtones. The Mio 8390 can, and I can't think of the other at the momment.

If you're running 2003 put your WAV files under /Storage/Application Data/Sounds

Ya, all the new generation phones are good at handling them. But before they hit the scene, there were only a handful. :(
