E200 - Keypad problem - Repeating key entries

Hi,

I have just had my E200 replaced because the "4" key seemed to be sticking. When ever I pressed it, it would simply repeat ad-infinitum.

Started the new phone, set it all up and hey.. The same thing happens but this time with the "3" key.

I am starting tho think this is a software problem.

HAs anyone else seen this problem> Is there a fix?

I do not own an E200. But have not heard about any keyboard problems with the Smartphones, in hardware or software.

Have you tried going in to the Settings->Accessiblity and changing the 'Multipress time'. Make it more than 1 second or more or set it to 'no auto advance'

But worse than just the 4 key! It's the delete key so everytime I need to delete any text I have to quickly hit another key before everything is deleted!

Because phone is older than 6 months I'm having to send it off to HTC for a repair!!!!

Hmm...so the E200 has hardware/manufacturing issues 8O
