The study investigated how mobile phone callers in London, Paris and Madrid used their phones in public...The research team led by Dr Amparo Lasen also discovered that people living in all three cities could not imagine living without their mobile phones."

BBC readers have submitted their interesting stories and thoughts on this topic. Some of them are really funny. My favorite one came from Amy Marimuthu: "I can't leave the house without my mobile phone. I find it an unhealthy habit.". I am in the same boat. I check E-Mails, read news, monitor stock quotes, listen to music, use it as a navigation aid, manage my calendar and of course chat. It doesn't matter where I am or how much fun I am having, if I am not carrying my Smartphone on me, I feel uncomfortable till I get it back in my pocket :)

So please share with us your experiences and thoughts.

Invariably the day I leave it at home is the day that everything happens and everyone wants to call me.
