Monday said it expects the global number of mobile phone users to hit 2 billion by 2007 from 1.5 billion currently. The company expects 300 million new users to come from the Asia-Pacific region"<br /><br />500 Million new users in the next two and a half years.... That works out to 548,245.6 new mobile users each day (Assuming that the stores are open 7 days a week and there are no holidays  ). Is it just me or does that seem a little high? Over half a million new subscribers every day. If this prediction is correct, then the network operators better get moving on building a more stable network that can handle the load. 8O
